Hans Nauheimer
1937-1968
Born in Raunheim. At the age of eight, Hans Nauheimer found the sketchbooks of two of his grandmother's deceased brothers. Since then he has devoted himself to painting. But being an artist was not a profession at the time. In order to meet the expectations of his family, he completed an apprenticeship as an automotive designer and began his career at Opel.

Official opening of his studio in the disused Resart-Ihm factory in Raunheim. The place was a mixture of artist's workshop and gallery, New York loft and Parisian old building apartment - Kunstszene Raunheim.
